FUNDRAISING EVENT!
We are excited to reach out to you as a valued member of our community and a champion for equity and inclusion! At the HBAstl, our Mission is:
to promote Hispanic involvement and participation in the legal profession, both in private and public service; to bring attention to issues facing Hispanics in our community and in the legal profession; and to advance equal protection for the Hispanic Community before the law.
Because education is the cornerstone of progress, our efforts include Continuing Legal Education classes and joint collaborations with other diverse bar associations that were even held remotely due to the pandemic, in addition to social and networking events such as our annual holiday Tres Reyes event, and our annual Gala during Hispanic Heritage month in the fall.
Funding the solutions is the catalyst for positive change. To remedy obstacles to legal education for Hispanic students, our Board collaborates with the Hispanic Leaders Group of St. Louis to support the Hispanic Scholarship Alliance. Each Board member participated in this important fundraising effort, which we hope to repeat with future scholarship efforts.
